Riah is an abstract visual artist who explores the emotional landscape of the inner world.
Her paintings fuse a lifelong fascination with color with a rich inner life to reveal the hidden mysteries of the heart.
For Riah emotions have colors, shapes, and textures, as do sounds. Her paintings are revelations of her inner experience as well as portraits of the universal human experience of feeling, which connects us all.
“The emotional world isn’t a place to fear or to fix, but to witness. It is through this witness we can embrace our emotions and come home to ourselves and each other.”
To feel is to be alive. It is through the language of art that Riah hopes to guide others into a deeper understanding of their inner world and the intimate beauty of being human.

Riah’s desire is for every heart to know and be known.
She is currently living in Portland, Oregon with her husband and little black cat. She enjoys a good cup of coffee and a deep conversation.
